Underwater Video and Photo Recording
Underwater Video and Photo Recording Freetown is a critical maintenance requirement for shipowners, captains, and operating companies calling at the Port of Freetown. The heavy maritime traffic along the Sierra Leone coast, particularly from iron ore, container, and bulk carriers using the port continuously, makes regular and reliable underwater maintenance services essential. Our team consists of commercially certified divers trained to international standards, delivering services without dry-docking and without interrupting the vessel's operational schedule.
This service, offered at the Port of Freetown, plays a major role in preserving the long-term performance of the hull and related equipment. The saline and organic nature of seawater can gradually cause fouling, corrosion, and loss of efficiency on the hull surface. Regular inspections and interventions therefore directly contribute to reduced fuel consumption, maintained cruising speed, and lower long-term maintenance costs.
Before undertaking any underwater video and photo recording freetown assignment, our team carries out a detailed pre-assessment. The vessel's type, tonnage, position within the port, and current condition are all considered in order to determine the most appropriate equipment and method. All operations are carried out in full compliance with international maritime safety regulations and classification society requirements.
During and after the service, every procedure is fully documented with detailed video and photo records. These reports are prepared in a complete and transparent format for shipowners, operators, and, where required, insurers and classification societies, so our clients can be fully confident in the quality and scope of the work performed.
Our team, operating on a 24-hour basis at the Port of Freetown, aims to deliver the service vessels need quickly within their limited time in port. When you contact our team for a underwater video and photo recording freetown request, a site assessment is carried out promptly and a clear plan and quotation are provided. We are here for shipowners and operators seeking a reliable, fast, and professional partner in Sierra Leone waters.
